On a weekend in Somerset, it's already mysteriously in the air. And on the ground naturally. I was thus inspired to pull up some inspirational imagery for the season. Nothing strenuous. Just a few table settings, interiors, and a touch of fashion to get in the mood. The colors as E.E. suggests shift through orange. Ranging from neutrals to browns. Eventually. Amazing Interiors From Fashion Runway Shows: Part II

This was so popular the first time that I'm going to try to do it on a semi regular basis. And for those of you who missed the first part, it's conveniently attached as an extension at the bottom of this post.

So why do we and I like looking at these so much? In my mind it's the colliding moment of any number of design disciplines, as much as I don't like this word. Interior design obviously. The scale is suggestive of architecture. Or at least it's very architectural due to it's structured linearity and temporal ordering. Sound, lighting. It's theater, a performance, a succession of stills, a stage set, and visual merchandising all in one shot. Then of course there is the art itself, which is walking.
